Mark Van Goss is a visual artist and designer based in The Netherlands.
Graduating with a BA in graphic design in 2008 from Ravensbourne College of Design and Communication in London. Mark began his creative career from Antwerp, Belgium where he began working as an artist and graphic designer.
Drawing and mark-making is the foundation of Mark's work, and he has developed a focus in creating pattern based artworks that take inspiration from classical motifs, folk art and traditional crafts.
Mark has worked on a broad range of commissions, from mural and illustration projects to print design for the fashion industry including work for G-Star Raw, Tommy Hilfiger and Hong Kong streetwear staple Clot.
Studio Van Goss is a design studio founded by Mark as an outlet for the exploration of pattern design through craft and print.
Mark also works as a design lecturer at the Amsterdam Fashion Institute and Design Academy Eindhoven.
